AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 1474 WHEREIN A
PORTION OF GALVESTON STREET IN THE, J. A. KEMP ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF VVICHITA FALLS HAS HERETOFORE BEEN CLOSED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE POARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF uJI CHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Ordinance No. 14�4 be and it is hereby
amended to read as follows, in order to correct a prior misde-
scription in the original Ordinance:
That the portion of Galveston Street lying
west of the west line of Colorado Street and more particularly
described as follows:
Beginning at a point in the South line of Galveston
Street and the IfJest line of Colorado Street (said
point being the Northeast corner of Block 31 of the
J. A. Kemp Addition);
Thence West along the South line of Galveston Street
a distance of approximatelir two hundred fifty (250)
feet to an intersection with the Southeast ri-ht of
way line of the highway cutoff road which road extends
from Virginia Street to Scott Street;
Thence along said right of way line on a curve to
the left to an intersection with the North line of
Galveston Street;
Thence along said North line of Galveston Street a
distance of ninety-seven (97) feet more or less, to
an intersection with the West line of Colorado Street;
Thence South along the Wiest line of Colorado Street,
if extended, a distance of sixty (60) feet to the
place of beginning,
is hereby closed and abandoned.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls, however, reserves
and retains any existing easements on and through said property
for utility lines.
