STREET MITERSECTION, TO HAMPSTEAD LANE; CHANGING THE NAME OF HILLCREST DRIVE, -MN
THE OLD SEYMOUR ROAD TO 3U:a0UGHS STREET, TO RIVERCREST DRIVE: NAMING THE UN-NAMET
STREET IN RIVER.CREST PARK ADDITION LYING BETWEEN LOCKS 1 AND 2 AND BLOCKS 3 AND 4
TO THE NAME OF KING DRIVE; NAMING THE UN-NAMED STREET IN BLOCK 5 OF RIVERCREST PARK
ADDITIQN LYING BETWEEN LOTS 16 AND 17 AND BETWEEN LOTS 19 AND 20 TO THE NAME OF
VALLEY VIEW DRIVE; CHANGING THE NAME OF MALCOLM LANE IN SOUTHMOOR MANORS AND SOUTH-
OOR ADDITION TO EDEN LANE FROM CYNTHIA LANE TO HERRING LANE ON SAID STREET; DESIG-
RATINO THE NUMBERING ON HAMPSTEAD LANE FROM MILBY TO KEMP BOULEVARD AS THE 2500
BLOCK, 2500 BEING AT THE CORNER OF MILBY AND HAMPSTEAD LANE AND PROCEEDING IN A
WESTERLY DIRECTION TO KEMP BOULEVARD AS SAIL) 2500 BLOCK; REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES
OR PORTIONS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT !TEiE::!ITH.
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas have
been requested by interested parties to make the name changes as herein made on
streets within said City of Wichita Falls, `Texas and the numbering on Hampstead
Lane, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas believes
it to be to the best interest of the City of Wichita :ails, Texas that the same be
done;
NOW, THEREFORE, -BE IT ORDAINED BYTHE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
';ICHIT_. FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That Avenue X from Nilby Street to Arthur Street in said City
of Wichita Falls, Texas be renamed Hampstead Lane.
SECTION 2. That Hillcrest Drive in IMivercrest Park Addition from the Old
Seymour Road to Burroughs Street be renamed Rivercrest Drive.
SECTION 3. That the un-named street in Rivercrest Park Addition lying
between Blocks 1 and 2 and Blocks 3 and 4 be named King Drive.
SECTION 4. That the un-named street in Block 5 of Rivercrest Park Addi-
tion lying between Lots 16 and 17 and Lots 19 and 20 be given the name Valley View
Drive.
SECTION 5. That Malcolm Lane in Southmoor Manors and Southmoor Addition
be renamed Eden Lane, ::eginning at a point where Cynthia Lane intersects and ending
at a point where Herring Lane intersects said street.
SECTION 6. That in order to prevent the overlapping of numbers on
Hampstead Lane, the said Hampstead Lane is designated as the 2500 Block for number-
ing purposes, beginning at Milby Street intersection and extending to the Kemp
Boulevard intersection.
SECTION 7. All ordinances or portions of ordinances in conflict herewith
are hereby repealed and the City Engineering Department is directed to place the
proper markings on the within named streets.

COMMENT:
I recommend that the streets listed below be renamed as suggested hereafter:
Avenue X from Milby Street to Arthur Street be renamed Hampstead Lane
Hillcrest Drive in Rivercrest Park Addition from the Old Seymour Road
to Burroughs Street be renamed Rivercrest Drive
The un-named street in Rivercrest Park Addition lying between blocks
1 and 2 and between 3 and 4 be named King Drive
The un-named street in Block 5 of Rivercrest Park Addition lying be-
tween lots 16 and 17 and between lots 19 and 20 be named Valley View
Drive
Malcolm Lane in Southmoor I:anors and. Southmoor Addition be renamed
Eden Lane from Cynthia Lane to Herring Lane
In order to prevent overlapping of numbers on Hampstead Lane, it will be
necessary to amend the numbering ordinance as applies to this particular
street so that the 2500 block will begin at i ilby and extend to Kemp Boulevard.
