AN ORDINANCE CREATING AND FIXING A FIRE LANE ON THE SOUTH 205 FEET OF
THE ALLEY EXTENDING FROil 8TH TO 7TH STREET IN MOCK 2582 IN THE ORIGINAL TOWNSITE;
PROHIBITING THE PARKING OF ANY AND ALL VEHICLES IN SUCH FIRE LANE AND PROVIDING A
PENALTY FOR VIOLATION.
TEXAS BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
SECTION 1. That there is hereby created a fire lane along the south
205.0 feet of the alley extending from 8th Street to 7th Street in Block 258 in
the original townsite in the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas. phis
covers the alley from the north curb line of 8th Street to the north curb line of
the alley which is parallel to 8th Street and extends from the first alley men-
tioned above to Holliday Street.
SECTION 2. That it shall hereafter be unlawful for any person, firm,
or corporation to park a vehicle of any kind of these portions of said alley and
on any part of the above created fire lane, and upon conviction of such violation,
such person, firm or corporation shall be fined any sum of money not less than
$5.00 nor more than $200,00,
