AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMI''l OF THE CITY OF WICHI:TA FALLS
TEXAS, BY ANNEXMING CERTA)V LANDS ADJACENT TO THE PRESENT TERRITOR-
IAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF 14ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THE SAME LYING IN
A SOUTHERLY DIRECTION FROM 'ME PRESENT LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICH-
ITA FALLS, TEXAS, A 1 OF WHICH LANDS ARE FULLY 3)ESCRIBED IN THE .BODY
OF THIS ORDTNANCE, SUCH ADDITION BEI IG KNOWN AS WICHITA MANOR ;#2.
BE IT 0RDAINED BY THE 3DARD OF ALDERMEN, CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section 1. That the foll wing described tract of land located in Wichita
County, Texas, be, and the same is hereby now ordered to be
annexed to and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits of said City of Wichita
Falls, 'exas, be extended to include such tract of land more particularly
described as follows:
Being a tract of land situated in the County
and being a portion of Block 4, Kemp and Newby fSub-Divisionxof,
Cherokee County School Lands, and being more particularly des-
cribed as follows:
BEGT_NNING: at a point in the West right of way line of U. S.
Highway No. 281, said point of beginning being in the South
line of 38th Street,
THENCE; East along the south line of 38th Street 1638 ft to a
point;
THENCE: South parallel with the West line of said Block 4.
2550 feet to a point;
THENCE: West parallelwith the south line of 38th Street 1638
feet to a point ir_ the West right of way line of U.S. High-
way No. 281;
THENCE: North along the West line of U. S. Highway No. 281,
1550 feet to the place of beginning; containing in all 58.2
acres of land more or less.
Section 2. In conformity with Section 3a of the Amended Charter of the City
of Wichita calls, Texas, this Ordinance is introduced on the 23rd
ti
day of hpril, 1952, and the Clerk is directed to publish said Ordinance one
acteme in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Wichita
d, Texas, and after seven days thereafter, this Ordinance may be finally
acted upon.
This Ordinance having been introducted on the 23rd day of
April, 1952 and having been publishedJa a newspaper published in the City
