SECTION 1. That that portion of. Clay Street from the South Property
line of Wichita Street to the Wichita River; the alley in Block 46 of
the original townsite of the City of Wichita Falls, 'rom the North property
line of Caroline Street to the South property line of Washington Street;
the alley in P1ock 68 from the North property line of Lincoln Street to the
South property line of Caroline Street; the alley in Block 69 from the East
property line of Clay Street to the .East property line of said block and from
the South property line of Lincoln Street to the alley running East and. West
in said ;mock; the alley in block 73 from the 'Kest property line of Corwin
Street one hundred -fifty feet (1501) West and Lincoln Street from the West
property line of Corwin Street to the East property line of Houston Street,
all in the original townsite of the City of Wichita _'Falls be, and -the same
are hereby, closed and abandoned as public streets and alleys except as
hereinafter set out.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichta Falls retains an easement in, on,
over,, and under any part of said streets and alleys for the purposes of
maintaining, installing, or repairing any utility wire, pipe, or any other
method of transporting any form of a public utility commodity.
SECTION 3. Property herein is closed for the purpose of per fitting
the Housing Authority of the City of Wichita Falls to beautify and land-
scape the same and to use same in their Housing Project, notir in the process
of development.
