Ord 1615 5/26/1952ORDINANCE NO. 1 Ali OifflDINAN CE ExT ]LADING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJAC12iT TO THE PRESENT TE1-LRIiTjRIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, 'TEXAS, THE SUES, LYING IN A NORTH- ERLY DIRECTION FROM THE PRESENT CITY LINiiTS OF rCHE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ALL OF IvHICH LANDS ARE MORE FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE BDDY OF THIS ORDINAi,TCE. SECTION 1, BE IT 0_RI)AINE© by the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, that the following described tract of land located in Wichita County, 'Texas, be, and the same is here- by, now ordered to be annexed to, and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits of said City be extended to include such tract of land, more particularly described as follows, to -wit: Beginning at a point in the present City limits, being also the North Line of the S.L.B. Jasper Survey, Abstract 168, Wichita County, Texas, said point being in the East right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 281; Thence in a Northwesterly and Northerly direction along the East right-of-way line of said U.S. Highway No. 281, to the South Vight-of-way line of Kell Field Airport: entrance road; Thence East along the South right-of-way of Kell Field Airport entrance road, a distance of 980 feet; 'Thence South 200 feet; Thence East 687 feet; Thence North 1517. �� feet; Thence West 1787 feet to the West right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 2.81; Thence in a Southerly and Southeasterly direction along the liest right-of-way line of U.S. Highway No. 281, to the North line of said S.L.B. Jasper Survey, Abstract 168; Thence East along the North line of said S.L.B. Jasper Survey to the place of beginning., containing within these metes and bounds 95.3 acres of land more or less. SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this Ordinance is introduced on this the is"tday of May, 1952, and the City Clerk is directed to publish said Ordinance one time in a newspaper of general cir- culation published in the City o' Wichita Falls, Texas, and after seven days have elapsed, this Ordinance may be finally acted upon. Said Ordinance having been introduced on the ►,iG day of May., A.D., 19523 and having been published in a newspaper in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, such newspaper being of general circulation, and seven days from such publication having elapsed, said Ordinance is finally passed and approved this A67 day of May, g.D., 1952.
