BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS
REGULATING RATES FOR TELEPHONE SERVICE IN SAID CITY
WHEREAS2 the Southwestern Bell Telephone Company de-
sires the approval of the City Council of the City of Wichita
Falls to the establishment of a base rate area within which
telephone service shall be rendered at rates authorized by the
City Counci12 and
WHEREAS, there is included within the
mun-
cipal boundaries of the City of Wichita Falls areassent which are
as yet largely undeveloped and in which the Telephone Company
represents that service cannot be economically and efficiently
rendered at said rates, and
WHEREAS, the City Council recognizes the right of the
Telephone Company to earn a fair return on the fair value of its
Property devoted to the rendition of telephone service in the
City of Wichita Falls.
NOW THEREFORE9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS:
Section 1: That approval is hereby granted to the
Southwestern Bell Telephone Company -to exclude from the area
within which service will be furnished at base rates all of
that territory taken into the Wichita Falls City Limits by Or-
dinance 1615 passed and approved on May 26 1952.
