AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT M THE
TblE PRESENT TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS,
TEXAS, THE SIME LYING IN A SOUTHEASTERLY DIRECTION FROM THE
PRESENT LIMIT OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, ALL OF WHICH
LANDS ARE FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN, CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following, described tract of land
located in Wichita County, Texas, be, and the same is hereby now
ordered to be annexed to and to be included within the corporate
limits of said City of Wichita Falls, Texas, be extended to include
such tract of land in Wichita County, Texas, and more particularly
described as a tract of land out of Lot No. Four (4) of the Kemp
and Newby Subdivision of the Cherokee County School lands, Wichita
County, Texas, and more particularly described as:
BEGINNING at a point in the South line of 38th Street,
said point of beginning being the Northeast corner of a 58.2 acre
tract incorporated in the city limits May 12, 1952.
THENCE East with the South line of 38th Street, at 928 feet
the West line of County Farm Road in all 988 feet to the East line of
said County Farm Road.
THENCE South with the East line of County Farm Road
1,550 feet.
THENCE West 988 feet to the Southeast corner of said 58,2
acre tract,
THENCE North with the East line of said 58.2 acre tract
1,550 feet to the place of beginning, containing in all 35.2 acres
of land, more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3a of the Amended
Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this Ordinance on the

City Clerk is directed to publish said Ordinance one time in a news-
paper of general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and after seven days thereafter, this Ordinance may be finally
acted upon.
