RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE FY 2000 -2001
BUDGET FOR THE WICHITA FALLS (413) SALES TAX CORPORATION
FOR DESIGN OF A PUBLIC SAFETY TRAINING CENTER AND
CONSTRUCTION OF A FIRE TRAINING FIELD; DETERMINING THAT
THE MEETING AT WHICH THIS RESOLUTION WAS PASSED WAS
OPEN TO THE PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors for the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation met on May 9, 2001 to consider the City's request for project approval and
funding for the Public Safety Training Center and the Fire Training Field; and
WHEREAS, the 4B Board has approved amending the Corporation's budget for
FY 2000 -2001 to include an appropriation of $311,000 necessary for the estimated
design fees for the Public Safety Training Center and to appropriate $1,170,000 for the
construction of the Fire Training Field.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
SECTION 1. The FY 2000 -2001 budget of the Wichita Falls 4B Sales Tax
Corporation is hereby amended to include an appropriation of $311,000 necessary for
the estimated design fees for the Public Safety Training Center and to appropriate
$1,170,000 for the construction of the Fire Training Field.
SECTION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this resolution was passed was open to the public as required by law.
