FALLS:
SECTiCH 1. Ordinance Eo. 1582 is hereby amended by deleting
therefrom and taking o>>t of the classified service of the City of Wichita
Falls the Fire !,larshal, the same being set up as sub -division 7, section c
of Section 1 of Ordinance No. 1582, so that said ordinance shall hereafter
read as follows:
"SECT r:O,T 1. Be it ordained by the Board of Aldermen of the City
of Wichita Falls t.:at the following positions in the Hire Department are
classified under Civil Service in compliance with Section 8 of Article 1269m
of the �:..evised Civil Statutes of Texas and they are hereby set out as folloiis:
1. Recruit Firemen
2. Firemen
1. Driver
4. Lieutenant
5. Ca-otain
6. Assistant Chief
7. Position at large - Positions under Civil Service by to be filled
by appointment rather than promotion_, the same being:
a. Operator
b. Chief Operator
SECTION 2. 110 other person employed by the Cit;r of 'adich_ta Falls
may be clssified as holdin a position under Civil Service with the Fire
