AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING DANCE HALL PERMIT WITHIN THE
CORPORATE LIFTS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS ON ANY
PREMISES AT I RICH A LICENSE TO SELL INTOXICATING
BEVERAGES OF ANY KIM OR CHARACTER IS HELD UNDER
THE TEXAS CONTROL ACT, AND CANCELLING A14Y PRESENT DANCE HALL
PERMIT ISSUED UNDER ORDINANCE 427, AS AMENDED; IN THE EVENT
1HAT EITHER WHISKEY, WINE OR BEER IS SOLD ON SUCH PREMISES.
EITHM LEGALLY OR ILLEGALLY, WITH OR WITHOUT A PERMIT UNDER
THE TEXAS LIQUOR CONTROL ACT.
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
That Ordinance No. 427, as amended, is hereby amended so as to
add the following provision, to -wit:
Before any license for a public dance hall shall be issued it must
be found by the Board of Aldermen that the owner or lessee applying for such
license has not been granted a permit to sell intoxicating beverages on the
premises for which the dance hall permit is requested, under the Texas Liquor
Control Act; nor shall any license be granted where intoxicating beverages
are sold, either legally or illegally on the premises where such dance hall
permit is applied for and the obtaining of a permit to sell intoxicating
beverages of any kind or character, either whiskey, wine or beer, under any
permit granted under the Texas Liquor Control Act shall immediately void any
dance hall permit heretofore granted.
