Resolution awarding bid and contract for Taxiway “C”
Reconstruction Project at Wichita Falls Regional Airport to Mitchell
Enterprises, LLC.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls desires to reconstruct taxiway “C” at
Wichita Falls Regional Airport; and,
WHEREAS, Federal Aviation Administration Airport Improvement Program
entitlement and discretionary funds are available to the City of Wichita Falls to fund
90% of the cost for this project and sufficient airport funds are available to fund the
locally required 10% of the project cost; and,
WHEREAS, Mitchell Enterprises LLC has submitted a bid of $4,603,938.95 to
complete this Taxiway “C” reconstruction work.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF W ICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is authorized to execute all documents necessary with
Mitchell Enterprises, LLC for Taxiway “C” Reconstruction work, with changes thereto in
a form approved by the City Attorney, in an estimated amount of $4,60 3,938.95.
