The meeting was called to order by Chairperson Wingo at 2:04 p.m. He then proceeded to
make the following comments:
a. This meeting is being broadcast live on Channel 11. It will be replayed at. 2:00 p.ru
daily including Saturday and Sunday until the next live meeting is aired which will be the seco

b. Motions made by the Commission members include all staff recommendations arm
developmental requirements listed in the staff report. Any deviations will be discussed on
case-by-case basis and voted on accordingly. I

Ms. Metty made a motion to approve the minutes of the March 25, 2015 meeting. Mr. Martir
seconded the motion. The minutes were approved with a unanimous vote,

Mr. Guess presented the notification plat. Larry Hamilton, 3503 Sheridan Road, applicant,
answered questions from the commission. Mr. Graham asked why 10 additional feet was
needed to the north. Mr. Hamilton answered that based on the survey the additional 10 feet
was needed, but easements would remain the same. Mr. Martin made a motion to approve, as
conditioned in the staff report. Commissioner Metty seconded. The commission approved the
notification plat unanimously.
C'. Case C-15-05
Conditional Use to allow a carport in the required front and exterior side setback in
the Single Family Residential (SF-2) zoning district
108 S. Glencoe Circle
Mr. Shapiro presented the conditional use for the warehouse facility. Bob Oden, 3402
Glenwood, applicant presented to the commission. Mr. Graham asked the applicant why there
would be a single shared drive for two lots. Mr. Oden said the existing single gate provides for
one driveway and shared access. Mr. Martin made a motion to approve, as conditioned in the
staff report. Mr. Brock seconded. The commission unanimously approved the conditional use
for the warehouse facility.

Ms. Metty made a motion to approve, as submitted. Mr. Martin seconded. Mr. Martin said the
applicant should meet Wth Mr. Wilson to establish the access agreement. The commission
unanimously recommended approval to city council to rezone the property to Manufactured
Housing Residential
7. Case R 15-03
Request to rezone 9.55 acres out of parts of Block 10, Kemp & Newby Subdivision
and parts of Block 4, Irrigation Subdivision from Single Family-I (SF-1) to General
Commercial (GC)
1001 East Central Freeway
Mr. Guess presented the rezoning request to the commission. The applicant, Sam Cruse, 2551
Windthorst Road, presented his proposal, including interest for a hotel on the property. Mr.
Martin made a motion to approve, as submitted. Ms. Metty seconded. The commission
unanimously recommended approval to city council to rezone the property to General
Commercial (GC).
