Ord 20-2015 5/5/2015Ordinance No._20-2015__ Ordinance rezoning 30.21 acres out of parts of Block 10, Kemp & Newby Subdivision Cherokee County School Land, A-33 from Single- Family Residential (SF-1) to General Commercial (GC) WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed rezoning request at its April 8, 2015 meeting, and voted unanimously to recommend approval of this request; and, WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this rezoning request and has determined that the herein described zoning amendment is in the public interest. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: Approximately 30.21 acre of land, consisting of Block 10, Kemp & Newby Subdivision Cherokee County School Land, A-33 (2550 Windthorst Road), as depicted on the attached map herein incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “A”, is hereby rezoned from Single-Family Residential (SF-1) to General Commercial (GC).
