Ordinance No. _18-2015_
Ordinance rezoning approximately 6.6 acres at 3116 9 th Street from
Manufactured Housing Residential (MHR), General Commercial (GC),
Limited Commercial (LC), and Single-Family Residential (SF-2) to
Manufactured Housing Residential (MHR), and amending the Land
Use Plan designation of the property from Mobile Home Parks and
Low Density Residential to Mobile Home Parks
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
rezoning change and land use plan amendment at its April 8, 2015 meeting, and voted
unanimously to recommend approval of this request; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described zoning amendment is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
1. Approximately 6.6 acres of land, including Lot 7, Block 2, Deaton-Waggoner
and 6.43 acres of Abstract 701 (3116 9th Street), as depicted on the attached map
herein incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “A”, is hereby rezoned from
Manufactured Housing Residential, General Commercial, Limited Commercial, and
Single-Family Residential to Manufactured Housing Residential.
2. The Land Use Plan Map as depicted on the attached map herein
incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “B,” is hereby amended to change the
area from Mobile Home Parks and Low Density Residential to Mobile Home Parks.
