Resolution to approve Change Order #3 for the Terminal Area Project
at Wichita Falls Regional Airport to Trinity-Hughes/Sundt in an
amount of $599,765
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with Trinity-
Hughes/Sundt with an estimated total cost of $28,137,103; and,
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into two previous change order
agreements with Trinity-Hughes/Sundt in the amount of $262,445 for various additional
scope of work changes to the Terminal Area Project; and,
WHEREAS, Change Order #3 will add $599,765 to the contract for a revised
cost of $28,999,313; and,
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and believes
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order #3 for the Terminal Area Project at Wichita Falls Regional Airport
is hereby approved and the City Manager is authorized to make amendment s to this
contract with Trinity-Hughes/Sundt, with changes thereto in a form approved by the City
Attorney, in an estimated amount of $599,765.
