ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, APPROVING THE INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT WITH
THE CHISHOLM TRAILS RCBD TO DISPOSE OF ABANDONED
SCRAP TIRES', FINDING AND DETERMINING THAT THE MEETING AT
WHICH THIS ORDINANCE WAS PASSED WAS OPEN TO THE
PUBLIC AS REQUIRED BY LAW,
WHEREAS, the Chy of Wichita Falls has Sponsored the "Tired of Tires'
campaign: and,
WHEREAS, the Chisholm Trails RCSD would like to partner with the City and
help sponsor this campaign, and
WHEREAS, the approval of these funds could not have been anticipated prior to
the adoption of the 20042005 Budget.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS. TEXAS, THAT
SECTION 1. The City of Wichita Falls and the Chisholm Trails RCBD agree to
enter Into an Interlocal Agreement where the Chisholm Trails RCBD. will provide the
City the sum of $3,500 to help sponsor the 'Tired of Tres" campaign.
SECTION 2. There is hereby appropriated in Sanitation Fund $3,500.00 for the
'Tired of Tires campaign.
SECT ION 3. It is hereby officially found and determined that the meeting at
which this ordinance was passed was open to the public as required by law.
