Resolution authorizing the award of bid to Marvin Groves
Electric for the installation of emergency generators at Fire
Station #1 and Fire Station #5 in the amount of $86,943.00
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls advertised and requested bids for the
installation of emergency generators at Fire Station #1 and Fire Station #5; and,
WHEREAS, bids were received and publicly opened on January 19, 2015; and,
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to purchase emergency generators for Fire
Station #1 and Fire Station #5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Authorization is granted to award the bid for the purchase and installation of
emergency generators to Marvin Groves Electric, in the amount of $86,943.00.
PASSED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of February, 2015.
