I. Welcome & Introduction
Mayor Barham, the TPC chairperson, called the meeting to order at 1:32 p.m. and
welcomed everyone in attendance.
IL Public Comment on Agenda and Non- Agenda Items
Mayor Barham asked for any public comments on agenda and non - agenda items.
There was none.
ill. Presentation of the 2015 -2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan
Mr. Barnett gave a brief presentation about the development process behind the
creation of the 2015 -2040 Metropolitan Transportation Plan. Starting with the
fundamental requirements found in 23 CFR § 450.322, 23 U.S.C. 217(8), 23 U.S.0
§134 and 49 U.S.0 §5303, Mr. Barnett described how he and his staff developed
the document's structure and content. He talked about working with TxDOT's
Transportation Planning and Programming Division in Austin, Texas to supply
them with all of the required data inputs for calibrating and validating WFMPO's
