The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, met in
regular adjourned session on the above date with the following
present:-
Frank Collier, Mayor
R. E. Shepherd,
J. H. Patton,
J. i . Youngs
W. E. McBroom, City Clerk.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that Alderman Young be allowed
a six weeks vacation.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried.
ORDINANCE NO. 527
AN ORDINANCE GRANTING TO THE WICHITA VALLEY RAIL01AY COMPANY
ITS ASSIGNS, AND SUCCESSORS, AND LESSEES, THE RIGHT TO CONSTRUCT A
STANDARD GUAGE SPUR TRACK IN THE ALLEY BETWEEN SCOTT STREET AND
LAMAR STREET RUNNING FROM SIXTEENTH STREET TO THIRTEENTH STREET IN
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, DECLARING All EMERGENCY.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that Ordinance No. 527 be passed
on its third and final reading.
Motion seconded by Alderman Yung and carried b`,- the follow-
ing vote:-
Yeas: Shepherd, Young, Patton,
Nayes: None.
THE public hearing with reference to a right of way fran-
chise for the construction of a spur track in the alley between
Lamar and Scott Avenues from 13th to 16th Streets was called and as
no protests were heard the following motion was put in order.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the hearing be closed.
Motion seconded by Alderman Young and carried.
The Board of Aldermen then adjourned.
