The following letter of the City Engineer was read by the
hayor.

Gentlemen:-
This certifies that the 2Yins Paving Company has comp-
leted the ;saving and othcrwise improving of Taylor Street from its in-
tersection with the south property line of 'Tenth Street to its inter-
section with the north curb line of avenue "G" Street in accordance
with the plans and specifications therefor and I hereby recommend the
acceptance of the above described work.

R E S O L U T I O N
BE IT:RLSULVED BY THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT
TAYLOR
JHEREAS, the pity Engineer has certified that the paving
and otherwise improving of Taylor Street from its intersection with the south
property line of Tenth Street to its intersection with the north curb line of
Avenue "G" Street, has been completed by the Plains Paving Company in acc-
ordance with the plans and specifications therefor and the said City Engineer
recommends the acceptance of the said work by the City.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, THAT said paving and other
improvements be and the same are hereby accepted by the City of Wichita Falls
Texas, and the l,layor be and is hereby authorized and directed to execute Spe-
cial Assessment-Certificates,-evidencing the indebtedness of the owners of
the property abutting on said portion of street, in the ,name of the City of
14ichita Falls, and the City Clerk is hereby authorized ark. directed to attest
s me and to impress thereon the Seal of the City of !Alichita i'alls, Texas, and
to deliver said Special Assessment Certificates to the Plains Paving Company
in payment, as set forth in the conttact, for the above named improvements,
all in accordance with the ordinances and resolutions heretofore adopted and
passed by the C!tjs of Tichita falls with reference to the above described
improvements.

orized to pay drafts for service rendered by out of town officers on tax
suit citations where service certificates is attached.
