The Board of Aldermen of the City of 'fichita Falls, met in
regular called session at 4 P. LT. on the above date with the following
present:-

Moved by Alderman Stayton that due to an error of the Tax
-assessor that the Orient Petroleum Company's valuation for the year
1923, be reduced from X100,000.00 to ;35,000.00 provided that all de-
linquent and current taxes due by this firm are paid on or beforeeb-
ruary 29th 1924.
Motion seconded by Alderman Shepherd and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stayton that due to error of the Tax Assessor
the valuation for the year 1923, on the Empire 1' Tortgage Company be re-
duced from 056,000.00 to 449,417.00 and the taxs on over - valuation be
remitted.
IIotion seconded by -alderman Shepherd and carried.

Moved by Alderman Patton that the salary of Paul Barnett be
raised to 1„175.00 per month, said raise to be effective as of Feb. 1st.
