The Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, met
in regular called session at 4 P. M. on the above date with the following
present:-
Frank Collier, %Tayor
R. E. Shepherd X
J. T. Young
B. A. Stayton A 1 d e r m e n
J. H. Patton
W. E. 14cBroom, City Clerk.
Moved by Alderman Young that the valuation for the year 1923,
taxes, on Lot 2, Block 38, Southland Addition be reduced from $1,000.
to 0500. and the tax on over valuation be remitted.
Motion seconded by Alderman �Dtayton and carried.
Moved by Alderman Stayton that the City Clerk be authorized
to have one hundred copies of the City Charter printed at a cost of
$68.00.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried.
Moved by Alderman Shepherd that the City Treasurer be auth-
orized and instructed to transfer the overdraft of X22,358.88 in the
Fire Station Fund to the General Fund.
Motion seconded by Alderman Stayton and carried.
Moved by alderman Shepherd that the time for paying city taxes
without penalty to bxtended to February 29, 1924.
Motion seconded by Alderman Patton and carried.
