Ordinance rezoning approximately 0.48 acres of land at 1106 and
1108 Indiana Avenue from Light Industrial (LI) to Central Business
District (CBD)
WHEREAS, the Planning and Zoning Commission considered the proposed
zoning change at its December 1, 2014 meeting, and voted unanimously to recommend
approval of this request; and ,
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this request and has determined that
the herein described zoning amendment is in the public interest.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Approximately 0.48 acres out of Block 199, Original Townsite of Wichita Falls,
portion of Lot 4 and all of Lot 5 (1106 & 1108 Indiana Avenue), as depicted on the
attached map incorporated in this ordinance as Attachment “A”, is hereby rezoned
from Light Industrial to Central Business District.
