Resolution authorizing the purchase of various size d Toro mowers
through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program from
Professional Turf Products, L.P. in the amount of $128,904.99
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that this purchase is exempt from the State’s
competitive bidding requirements pursuant to TEXAS LOCAL GOVERNMENT CODE
§252.022, which reads as follows:
This chapter does not apply to expenditure for. . . (12) personal property sold:. .
under an inter-local contract for cooperative purchasing administered by a
regional planning commission established under Chapter 391.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Wichita Falls has passed a resolution
approving the participation in this cooperative agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that Professional Turf Products, L.P. is
offering Toro Groundsmaster Mowers through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing
Program, and it is in the City’s best interest to purchase these mowers in accordance
with the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase three
Toro Groundsmaster mowers from Professional Turf Products, L.P., in the amount of
$128,904.99 through the BuyBoard Cooperative Purchasing Program.
