RESOLUTION NO.123-2014
Resolution awarding the bid for Phase 1: Hike & Bike Trail from
Seymour Highway to Lucy Park
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for Phase 1: Hike &
Bike Trail from Seymour Highway to Lucy Park; and,
WHEREAS, it is found that the lowest responsible bidder is Mega Prime
Contractors, Inc., which made a unit price bid in an estimated total amount of
$1,299,066.86.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The unit price bid for the Phase 1: Hike & Bike Trail from Seymour Highway to
Lucy Park is awarded to Mega Prime Contractors, Inc., in an estimated total amount of
$1,299,066.86, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the Cit y
with said Contractor for the construction of such project.
PASSED AND APPROVED this the 4th day of November, 2014.
