ORDINANCE NO. 49-2014
Ordinance renaming North Regent Drive to Maplewood Avenue
WHEREAS, a request has been submitted to the City Council to change the
name of the 174’ street North Regent Drive to Maplewood Avenue ; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that emergency response times would be
enhanced with the elimination of isolated cross streets ; and
WHEREAS, the City Council, upon review of the request, finds that it is in the
public interest to rename North Regent Drive to Maplewood Avenue .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
North Regent Drive (as shown on the attachment map incorporated into this
ordinance as “Attachment A”) is hereby renamed Maplewood Avenue.
