RESOLUTION NO. 113-2014
Resolution authorizing the purchase of a Slope Mower from Kut
Kwick Corporation, a sole source vendor, in the amount of
$63,228.00
WHEREAS, Texas Local Government Local Government Code §252.022
exempts items from the State’s competitive bidding requirements as follows:
(2) a procurement necessary to preserve or protect
the public health or safety of the Municipality’s
residents
(7) (D) captive replacement parts or components
for equipment;…..”
WHEREAS, the City Council finds that purchasing a Super Slope Master Mower
from Kut Kwick Corporation is in the best interest of the City of Wichita Falls.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
City Staff is authorized to execute all documents necessary to purchase a Super
Slope Master Mower from Kut Kwick Corporation, in the amount of $63,228.00.
