Resolution Authorizing The City Manager To Apply For The FY 2011
Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program In A Total Amount Of
Approximately $27,840
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has been notified that it is eligible for
funding from the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program;
WHEREAS, the City will need to submit an application to obtain the available
funds from the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls will agree to the amount allotted and match
ratio available from the Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program, and will use these funds
to purchase bulletproof vests for Wichita Falls Police Officers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
The City Manager is hereby authorized to apply for funding for bulletproof vests
from the FY 2011 Bulletproof Vest Partnership Program in a total amount of
approximately $27,840.
