Res 053-2011 6/21/2011 RESOLUTION NO. 53-2011 Resolution Awarding Bid For Phase II Of The Runway 17/35 Reconstruction Project At Wichita Falls Municipal Airport CWF 11- 21 To Duininck, Inc. In An Estimated Total Amount Of $4,751,567.90 WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has advertised for bids for Phase II of the Runway 17/35 Reconstruction Project CWF11-21; WHEREAS, Mitchell Enterprises, LTD submitted the lowest bid, but has withdrawn its bid; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the next lowest responsible bidder is Duininck, Inc. with a bid in an estimated total amount of $4,751,567.90. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT: The bid for Phase II of the Runway 17/35 Reconstruction Project CWF11-21 is awarded to Duininck, Inc. in an estimated total amount of $4,751,567.90, and the City Manager is authorized to execute a contract for the City, in accordance with the bid documents, for the construction of such project.
