AN ORDINANCE PROHIBITING WE USE OF RAW WATER AS SOLD BY THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS WATER DEPART 1ENT OUT OF ITS WATER SYSTEM FOR DRINKING
PURPOSES WITHOUT FIRST TREATING THE SAE.
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls has made numerous taps on
its water lines and is in the business of selling raw water to various
customers; and
WHEREAS, such.water has not been treated, nor has the same been
tested for purity or for compliance with health requirements;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE EOAND OF ALDMEN OF THE
CITY OF WICHITA FAT,TS, TEXAS:
That the use of raw water as sold by the City of Wichita Falls
to its water customers is hereby prohibited for drinking purposes, unless
and until the customer purchasing such water shall have properly treated
the same so as to insure healthful water complying with all health regula-
tions of the State of Texas and the City of Wichita Falls.
This ordinance is cumulative with Ordinance No. 15, as amended.
