SECTION 1. That the following described tract of land located in
• 'Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is, hereby now ordered to be annexed to,
and thereby included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas and that the corporate limits be extended to include such tract of land
in Wichita County, Texas, the same being more particularly described as follows:
GINNING at a point in the present City Limit line on
the East property line of Taft Boulevard, 235 feet South of
the South line of Hampstead Lane;
THENCE, South along the East line of Taft Boulevard,
665.3 feet to a point;
THENCE, Easterly along the south line of Harrison Street
to a point in the prolongation of the South line of Lot 5,
'dock 48, Seventh Supplement to Country Club Estates Addition;
THENCE Northeasterly along the South line of the said
Lot 5, ¶ock 48, to its most Easterly corner;
THENCE, continuing in a Northeasterly direction along
the East line of Lot 2, _Mock 48, Seventh Supplement to
Country Club Estates Addition and its prolongation to the
North line of Irving Place, said point being in the present
city line
TTHE,TCE in a. Westerly direction along the North line
of Irving Place, and the present city limit line, to the
East line of Harrison Street;
in North.erly direction along the East line
of Harrison Street to a point 235 feet South of the South
line of Hampstead Lane;
THENCE West along the present city limit line parallel
to and 235 feet South of the South line of Hampstead lane to
the place of beginning; containing within these metes and
bounds 18.5 acres of land more or less, out of the A. F.
Crisswell Survey, Abs tract 346, Wichita County, Texas.
SECTION 2. in conformity with Section 3a of the Amended Charter of
the City of Wichita Falls this Ordinance is, on the ,ZZ day of March, 195)4
introduced, and the City Clerk is directed to publish said Ordinance one time
in a newspaper of general circulation, published in the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and seven days thereafter this Ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This Ordinance having been introduced on they/ day of March, 195)4
and having been, published in a news-ea-Per of general circul_ Lion published in the
City of ?; chita Falls, Texas one time, to-wit, on the g_VdCi day of March, 195)4
and seven days from such publication having elapsed, ts_sai d Ordinance is
finally passed and approved this, the / ' day,of A. D. 1954.
