RESOLUTION NO. 103-2014
Resolution to approve Change Order No. 1 for the Terminal Area
Project at Wichita Falls Regional Airport to Trinity-Hughes/Sundt in
an amount of $238,169
WHEREAS, the City of Wichita Falls entered into a contract with Trinity-
Hughes/Sundt with an estimated total cost of $28,137,103; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to make modifications to its rental car facilities at
Wichita Falls Regional Airport; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 will add $238,169 to the contract for a revised
cost of $28,375,272; and
WHEREAS, Change Order No. 1 is 100% eligible for the use of Customer
Facility Charges collected from Airport rental car concessions; and
WHEREAS, City staff has reviewed all aspects of this change order and believes
that it is in the City’s best interest to approve.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, THAT:
Change Order No. 1 for the relocation of the rental car service facility and
construction of additional rental car/public parking is hereby approved, and the City
Manager is authorized to make amendments to this contract with Trinity-Hughes/Sundt,
with changes thereto in a form approved by the City Attorney, in an estimated amount
of $238,169.
