AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA. FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJ,A.CENT . TO THE
PRESENT TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA..FALLS, THE SAMT E
LYING IN A. SOUTHERLY DIRECTION FROM THE PRESENT.CITY LIMITS OF
THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, ALL OF VJHaCH ARE FULLY DESCRIBED IN
THIS ORDINANCE. (Extended Section of 7th Supplemental Addition to Country
Club Estates)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described tract of land
located in Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby
ordered to be annexed to and to be included within the corporate
limits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate
limits be extended to include said tract of land, the sane being
more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the east line of Taft Boulevard,
said point being one hundred feet (1001) south of the
intersection of the east line of Tait Boulevard with the
south lane of Kirk Drive;
THENCE east to the present city limits line, being in one
of the west lines of Weeks Park;
THENCE northeasterly along the present city limits line to
its intersection with a projection of the;?north line of
Irving Place;
THENCE continuing along the present city limits line north- -
wasterly along the north line of Irving Place to a projection
of the east line of Lot Two (2), Block Forty= eight(48) of
the Seventh Supplement to Country Club Estates Addition;
THENCE continuing along the present city limits line south -
westly to the southeast corner of said Lot Two (2), Block
Forty -eight (48) ;�!
THENCE continuing along the present city limits line south --
westerly along the east line of Lot Five (5), Block Forty -
eight (48), Seventh Supplement to the Country Club Estates
Addition prolonged to the south line of Harrison Street;
'EHENCE westerly aloe§ the south line of Harrison Street to
the east line of Taft Boulevard;
THENCE south 713.3 feet along the east line of Taft Boule-
vard to the place of beginning and containing 33.6 acres,
more or less.
SECTION Z. In conformity with Section 3a of the Amended
Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, this Ordinance is, on the
28th day of February, A. D. 1955, introduced; and the City Clerk
is directed to publish said Ordinance one (1) time in a newspaper
of general circulation, published in the city of Wichita Falls,
Texas, and seven (7) days thereafter this Ordinance may be finally
acted upon.
