AN ORDINANCE DISCONTINUING CERTAIN TERRITORY AS A PART
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA, FALLS AND ELIMINATING THE SAME FROM
THE CITY LIMITS OF WICHITA FALLS, TEX -AS, THE SAME BEING
PROPERTY SITUATED IN RIVERCREST PARK ADDITION OF THE CITY
OF. WICHITA . FALLS, WICHITA COUI\ITTY, TEXAS: ALL OF . WHICH LANDS
ARE FULLY DESCRIBED IN THE BODY OF THIS CRDINA.NCE. .
WHEREAS, THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS HAS HERETOFORE TAKEN
WITHIN THE CORPORATE LIMITS BY DULY APRROVED ORDINANCE,THE
DULY HEREINAFTER DESCRIBED LANDS; and
WHEREAS, PETITIONS HAVE BEEN.DULY SIGNED BY A MAJORITY OF
THE QUALIFIED VOTERS RESIDING IN THE HEREAFTER DESCRIBED PROPER-
TY, AND .SUCH PETITIONS REQUEST.THAT SUCH TERRITORY BE DISCON-
TINUED AS A PART OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, AND DELETED FROM
THE CITY LIMITS THEREOF; and
WHEREAS, THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN FIND THAT SUCH TERRITORY
IS NOT SUITABLE AND NECESSARY FOR CITY PURPOSES AND THAT IT
IS NOT SUITABLE AND NECESSARY AREA TO BE WITHIN THE CORPORATE
LIMITS OF THIS CITY, AND IT IS THE DESIRE OF THE BOARD OF
ALDERMEN OF THE SAID CITY OF WICHITA FALLS TO DELETE THIS
PROPERTY FROM.THE CITY LIMITS OF;SAID CITY, AND TO,DISCONTINUE
SUCH TERRITORY AS A PART OF SUCH "CORPORATE LIMITS, THE SAME
BEING THE LANDS DESCRIBED HEREIN,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN
OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1, The following described tract or parcels of land.
situated in Wichita County, Texas, be and the same are hereby
discontinued as part of'the territory of said City, the same
being situated in the Rivercrest Park Addition of the'City
of Wichita Falls, Wichita County, Texas, the same being more
particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the northeast corner of lot Six
(6), in Block Five (5), of the Rivercrest Park Ad-
dition;
THENCE South 150151 East 860 feet along the
east jl ne of said Lot Six (6), to a point in the east
line of Winann Street;
THENCE Westerly 60 feet across Winann 'Street to
a point in the east line of Lot Four (4), Block Five
(5), Rivercrest Park Addition; .
