BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERM OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TES: THAT Section One of Ordinance °Number 1731 is hereby amended. so that the same shall hereafter read as follows: SECTION 1. Loitering of Xinors.rohibited. It shall be unlawful for any minor under Me'age .o twenty years to loiter, idle, wander, stroll or play in or upon the public streets, highways, roads, alleys, pare, playground. or other.public grounds, public places and public buildings, placed of amuse ment and entertainment, vacant lots or other unsupervised places, between. the hours of 11:00 P.M. and 4: 00,' A.M., of the following day, Central Standard Time on Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays :and Thursdays and between the hours of 1200 otelock A.M. can. Fridays and Saturdays and 1�:00 A.M. the following, day, . provided that on any day in which the public schools of the City off Wichi'ta Frans, Texas, are not in session', or on any day just` prior to the day in which. the :publie schools in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, are not In session, thj5�t ,::the provisions of this Section, do not apply on said day' and such hours : are 'hereby extended to 12:30 A.M., and 4:00 A.M., on the following day;provided,, however, that the provisions of this Section do not appl to a minor abcompanie,d 'by. his or her parent, guardian or other adult person or where the minor.. is up©n an emergoney errand or legitimate business directed. by his or her parent, guaarrdiaz%. That in order to preserve the public peace, health, morals ,y anal wel- fare by restricting the presence of mincars 1h the streets and other public place of the City .of Wichita Falls, Texas, and for the. purpose of curtailing juve- nile delinquency, there is hereb7 created an emergency to protect the,public welfare,. which makes it imperative that this am6nded ordinance shall become effective forthwith, and the same is hereby decl.ared as an emergency measure, and this ordinance shall became effective imediatalg.
