AN ORDINANCE MAKING APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE "SUPPORT, MAIN -
TENANCE, BUILDINGS AND IMPROVEUIENTS.FOR THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1,.1956$ AND..
ENDING.SEPTEMBER 30, 1957,.BOTH DATES INCLUSIVE, ADOPTING
THE.BUDOET FIGURES AND ACCOUNTS AS FART OF SAID APPROPRIA-
TIONS, AND DECLARING AN EMERGENCY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
Section -l. That the budget estimate of the reve-
nues of the 7,ity of Wichita Falls and the expenses of con- -
ducting the affairs for the ensuing fiscal year, beginning
October 1, 1956 and ending September 30, 1957, as submitted
to the Board of Aldermen by the City Manager of said City,
be and the same is in all things adopted and approved as
the budget estimate of all the current expenses as well as
the fixed charges against said City for the fiscal year
beginning the 1st day of October, 1956, and ending the 30th
day of September, 1957.
Section Z. That the appropriation for the fiscal
year beginning October 1, 1956, and ending September 30,
1957, be set up in accounts as set out in said budget which
is made a part hereof and marked Exhibit "At 1.
Section 3. The immediate need to continue the
normal operations of the business of the City creates an
emergency, and in order to protect the public health, wel-
fare and to preserve the peace, this ordinance shall take
effect immediately, and it is so ordained.
