AN ORDINANCE ABANDONING AND CLOSING THE ALLEY THAT
ADJOINS THE VEST AND NORTH LINES OF LOT, FIVE (5) , IN.
BLOCK THREE (3) , of 'NEST RIVERCREST ADDITION TO THE
CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, AS IS MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED
HEREIN; AND RETAINING ALL UTILITY EASEMENTS UNDER SUCH
PROPERTY.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following described alley which ex-
tends along the r9est and North Lines of Lot Five (5) in Block
Three (3) 11 of West Rivercrest Addition, and is bounded on the Nest
by the East Right-of-'day line of U S Highway 277 (Seymour Highway )
and extending from the North line of Rivercrest Road in a North-
easterly direction 150 ft. , more or less, and being approximately
15 ft . in width, be and the same is hereby closed and abandoned
as a public alley, except as hereinafter set out.
SECTION 2. The City of Wichita Falls retains an ease-
ment in or over and under any part. of said alley for the purposes
of maintaining, installing or repairing any utility wire, pipe
or any other method of transporting any form of public utility
commodity .
SECTION 3. In the event that Highway 277 is ever widened
so that the tract herein abandoned becomes necessary to thb�.
public use for any highway purposes, the City reserves the right
to re--enter the same and use the above described property for
public use, if in the opinion of the Board of Aldermen of this
City the same is necessary,
