AND ORDINANCE NO. 1620, GRANTING TO WICHITA CITY LINES,
INC. A TEXAS CORPORATION, AND ITS LAWFUL SUCCESSORS, TIIE
MIGHT AND PRIVILEGE TO CHARGE $1.50 FOR A TICKET GOOD FOR
20 RIDES FOR SCHOOL CHILDREN AND 2� FOR TRANSFERS AND.PRE-
SCRIBING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS UNDER WHICH SUCH RIGHTS
AND PRIVILEGES SHALL BE EXERCISED.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1: Wich -Ita City Lines, Inc. is authorized
at all times to charge $1.50 for a ticket good for 20 rides
for each person who is between the ages of 12 years and 17
years, and who is in actual attendance of any elementary
school, high school, or any school or schools offering simi-
lar educational facilities that are situated within the
corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, for
transporting such passengers on regular school days during
the regular school term of any given week, Monday through
Friday, inclusive, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 4:30
p.m., said passengers being entitled to purchase such ticket
upon the presentation to Wichita City Lines, Inc. of a
written certificate of the principal of the school which
said student attends during the school months, showing
that such student is not more than seventeen years of age,
is- in regular attendance at said school, and is within the
grades herein provided. Said passenger without said ticket
shall pay the regular adult fare.
The said 'Wichita City Lines, Inc. sha11 issue, upon
request, to any fare paying passenger a transfer as in said
ordinance is provided, and shall be entitled to collect
for each such transfer the sum of 2�.
Except as herein amended, all of the terms of said
ordinances shall remain in full force and effect.
