AN ORDINANCE EXTENDINCT THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY
OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, .BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT
TO THE WEST .TERRITCgtIAL' LIMITS. OF SAID CITY; ALL .OF W ICH ARE
DESCRIBED IN. THIS. ORDINANCE; PROVIDING FOR THE 'PtJBLICATION
OF NOTICE AND, P.ROVID1140 FOR THE PASSAGE .AND APPROVAL HEREOF.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD DF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following lands located in Wichita
County, Texas, be and , the same are hereby
ordered to be annexed to and be included within the corporate
limits of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corp-
orate limits of such city be extended . so as to include said
lands in the- corporate limits of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, all of which are located in Wichita County, Texas, and
are more particularly descr-ibed as follows .-
BEGINNING At a point 40.1 west . and 351 south of
the northeast corner of Block Twenty-one (21 ) , League
1, Denton County School Land; said point being the
southwest corner of Fairway Boulevard and Montrose
Avenue;
THENCE west to the east right-of-way line of
Alexandr is Road;
THENCE north to the southeast line of Coronado
Avenue;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction along the
southeast line of Coronado Avenue to the east line of
Greenville Road;
THENCE north to a point 200 feet north of the
intersecting point of Wyoming Avenue and Greenville
Road ;
THENCE in a northeasterly direction following
a line 200 feet north and parallel with Wyoming Avenue
to a point 950 feet west of the west boundary of Fair-
way Drive;
THENCE in a northerly direction parallel with
Fairway Drive to a point 750 feet north of the center
line of Mimosa Street;
THENCE east to the east boundary of Fairway
Boulevard;
THENCE in a. norther ly direction along the east
line of Fairway Boul.d.vair.d,;,to a point intersecting at
the east' .line of Fairway Boul-dvard and -south line of
the Seyrpour Road;
THENCE along the southerly border of the Seymour
Road and Old Seymour Road to the city limits of the
City of Wichita Fails, Texas;
THENCE East along .said city limits to a point
being an "V' corner of said city limits;
THENCE south along said city limits line to a
corner of said city limits lying immediately north of
a spur railroad track(b,eing approximately 4651 north.

THENCE east to the west boundary line of Lawrence
Road; .
THENCE south along the west lane of Lawrence Road;

THENCE in a westerly direction along the north
line of Call Field Road, to the east line of Black

Road to a-point in the east right-of-way line of Fairway
Boulevard;
THENCE south along the east-, line of Fairway Boule-
vard. to the south line of a utility easement (149.4.1 .
southof the south line of Westward Drive. ); r
THENCE, west to the west 'r i ght-of-way line of Fair-
way Boulevard; ,
THENCE .south a°long the west right--of-way line
of Fairway Boulevard' to the place of beginning ;
and containing 805 acres, more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3-A of the Amended
Charter of the City of Wichita .Falls , Texas,
this ordinance is on the 4th day of. May', 1959-,Antroduced- and the
City Clerk is directed to publish said ordinance one time in a
newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and seven (7) days thereafter this ordinance may be
f ina `ly. acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the 4th
day of. May, 1959, . and having been published in a newspaper of
general ,circulation in the Uity of Wichita Falls, Texas, -t.owit,
the Wichita Falls Record News, one time, towit, on. the day
of May, A.' D. 1959s and seven (7) days from such publicaEion
having elapsed, this or,dinance . is finally passed and approved
this day of A.A. D. 1959.
