SECTIM 1. That there be assessed, levVd, and collected on
all taxable property in the City of Wichita Falls,
for the year 1956, the following, towit.
.00 on each A100.00 assessed valuation of all taxable property
in the City for the maintenance and support of the General GovernEent,
including current expenses and general improvements of said City and
its property known as the General Fund.
.30 on each 000.00 assessed valuation of all taxable property,
in the City for the purpose of laying out, opening, and constructing,
repairing and improving the roads, bridges, and streets within the limits
of said City, known as the Street hung.
.20 on each WO."n assessed valuation of all taxable property in
the City for current expenses in maintaining, improving and beautifying
public parks and maintaining and improving public playgrounds, 'mown as
the Part Fund.
.05 on each 100.0r assessed valuation of all taxable property for
current expenses for the purpose of establishing, providing, maintaining
and operating within said City, a pudic library or libraries, known as
the Library Fund.
" .L5 on each "100.00 assessed valuation of all taxable property
for the purpose of paying interest and principal for the redemption of
bonds heretofore legally issued by said City, known as the Interest and
Sinking Fun'.

S KTI Y 2. There is also levied on occupation Tax on every person,
firm or corporation pursuing any of the occupations
named in the Charter, Ordinances, and the General Laws of Texas, which
shall be paid in advance, said occupation license to be one -half of the
State License for similar ocoupatior_s.
Total levy! for 1958 - 1.60 for 0100.00 valuation of all
taxable property in the City
SECT ICI 3. The immediate need to continue the normal operations
of the business of the City creates an emergency
and in order to protect the public health, welfare and to preserve the

peace, this Crdinance shall take effect immediatcly, and it is so
orda ined .
