AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE N.4,Z. OF ;'ZEST BELMOUNT DRIVE
IN UNIVERSITY PARK ADDITION TO THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
TO "WESTERN HILLS DRIVE; AND REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES OR PCRTIONS
OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH.
IMEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
Texas, have been requested by property owners and other interested
parties, to change the name of ';Jest Belmount Drive in University
Park Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to "Western
Hills Drive in said University Park Addition; and,
''TiEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls,
believe that inasmuch as West Belmount Drive and East Belmount
have identical house numbers, creates a duplication of house
numbers and similarity of street names on East and ; "test Belmount
in said University Park Addition; and,
"tHEREAS, the request for change of name will not cause any
confusion with the Post Office, Fire Department, or any interested
person, but such change in name will eliminate errors due to such
similarity of street names; and,
1,11HEREAS, the Board of Aldermen of the City of Wichita Falls
believe it to be to the best interest to said City, and any interested
person that such name be so changed;
NOW, THEREFCRE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN of
the City of Wichita Falls, Texas:
SECTION 1. That West Belmount Drive in University Park Ad-
dition, an Addition to the City of Wichita Falls, Wichita County,
Texas, be renamed "WESTERN HILLS DRIVE`, as the same extends from
Fairway Boulevard to Farm & Market Road r'369.
SECTION 2. That all ordinances or portions of ordinances in
conflict herewith, are hereby repealed.
