FAILS, TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That there be assessed, levied, and collected on
all taxable property in the City of Wichita Falls, for
the year 19,53 the following, to -wit:
.60 on each 1'1'100.0r assessed valuation of all taxable property in
the City for the maintenance and support of the General Government, in-
cluding current expenses and general imp_ rove;ients of said City and its
property known as the General Fund.
.30 on each 100.0 assessed valuation of all taxable property in
the City for tine purpose of laying out, opening, and constructinn, repair-
ing and improving the roads, bridges, grid streets within the limits of
said City, known as the Street Fund.
.20 on each ',100.00 assessed valuation of all taxable property in
the City for current expenses in maintaining, improving and beautifying
public parks and maintaining and improving public playgrounds, known as
the Park Fund.
S .05 on each assessed valuation of all taxable property for
current expenses for the purpose of establishing, providing, maintaining
and operating within said City, a public library or libraries, kno% -+rn as
the Library Fund.
.4.5 on each " 100.E 0 assessed valuation of all taxable property
for the purpose of pavinra interest and principal for the redemption of
bonds heretofore legally issued by said City, known as the Interest and
Sinkinq Fund.

SECTIOTJa 2. There is also levied an Oc:.upation Tax on every person,
firm or corporation pursuing any of the occupations
named in the Charter, Ordinances, and the General Laws of Texas, which
shall be paid in advance, said occupation license to be one -half of the
State License for similar occupations.
