AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE WEST AND
EAST TERRITCRIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FI`,LLS, TEXAS, CON-
SISTING OF PART OF WATER DISTRICT NO, 5, WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED
IN THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS9 TEXAS:
SECTION l.That the following tracts of land located in Wichita
County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be annexed and
to be-included within the corporate limits of the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended so as to
include said tracts of land in Wichita County, Texas, the same being
more particularly described as follows-
TRACT I. .1 tract of land located in Wichita County, Texas, approxi-
mately 5.8 miles South 65 degrees West from Wichita County Court-
house and more particularly described as follows*
BEGINNING at a point in the center line of Fairway Boulevard
660 feet Southward from the center line of U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE South 66 degrees and 34 minutes West parallel to and
660 feet from the center line of said U. S. Highway 82 and 277, a
distance of 13,400 feet, to a point 660 feet East of the center line
of a county road extending South from U. S. Highway 82 and 277 near
the West line of the Wm. Mayer Survey 11193;
THENCE South parallel to and 660 feet East of the center line
of said County Road 2207 feet to a corner;
THENCE West 1320 feet to a point 660 feet West of the center
line of County Road extending South from U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE North parallel to and 660 feet West of the center line
of the said County road 1635 feet to a point 660 feet Southward from
the center line of U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE South 66 degrees and 34 minutes west parallel to and
660 feet Southward from the center line of the said U. S. Highway
82 and 277, a distance of 2891 feet, to a point in the West line
of Lot 12, Rancho Vista Place in Denton County School Land, Block
2, .'157;
THENCE North 23 degrees and 26 minutes 'Nest 1320 feet to a
point 660 feet Northward from the center line of U. S. Highway 82
and 277;
THENCE North 66 degrees and 34 minutes East parallel to and
660 feet Northward from the center line of the said U. S. Highway
82 and 277, a distance of 2821.5 feet, to a point 660 feet West of
the center line of a county road extending North from U. S. High-
way 82 and 277 along the East line of BBB & C Ry. Co. Survey, 11b-
stract 30;
THENCE North parallel to and 660 feet West of the center line
of the County road along the East line of the BBB & C Ry. Co. Sur-
vey (°abstract 30, a distance of 3882 feet to a point in the Norther-
ly line extended of Block 51 of the Mesa Irrigated Farms Subdivi-
sion in the Wm. Mayer Survey Abstract 193;
THENCE North 83 degrees and 33 minutes East along the North-
erly line extended and the Northerly line of Block 51 of the Mesa
Irrigated Farms Subdivision in the Wm. Mayer Survey Abstract 193
a distance of 1671 feet to a point 1000 feet East of the center line
of the County road along the East line of the BBB & C Ry. Co. Sur-
vey j^,bstract 30;
THENCE South parallel to and 1000 feet East of the center line
of the County road along the East line of the BBB & C Ry. Co. Sur-
vey Abstract 30, a distance of 3351 feet, to a point Northward and
650 feet from the center line of U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE North 66 degrees and 34 minutes East parallel to and
660 feet Northward from the center line of Highway 82 and 277, a
distance of 13x71.5 feet, to the center line of Fairway Boulevard;
THENCE South 1.38 feet to the place of beginning;

Being 38.7 acres out of Blocks 10 and 3 of Denton County
School Land, League 2, A -57, Wichita County, Texas, and being des-
' cribed as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the East line of Block 10 of Denton
County School Land, League 2, and 430 feet South of the Northeast
corner of said Block 10, said beginning point being the intersec-
tion of the center line of the county road with the center line of
an irrigation canal;
THENCE along said canal center line as follows:
North 77 degrees and 10 minutes West 91.5 feet to a point;
North 57 degrees and 22 minutes West 1066 feet to a point;
South 87 degrees and 48 minutes West 171 feet to a point;
South 79 degrees and 10 minutes West 200 feet to a pointy
THENCE North 27 degrees and 48 minutes West 525 feet to a
point;
THENCE North 59 degrees and 26 minutes East 190 feet to the
beginning of a curve;
THENCE Northeasterly along a curve to the left with central
angle of 20 degrees and 41 minutes and a radius of 7'2.7 feet for
a distance of 282.6 feet to the end of a curve;
THENCE North 38 degrees and 45 minutes East 6 feet to the
beginning of a curve;
THENCE Northeasterly along a curve to the :�Jght with a cen-
tral angle of 20 degrees and 42 minutes with a :,adius of 817,5
feet for a distance of 295,3 feet to a point of reverse curve;
THENCE Northeasterly along a curve to the right with a central
angle of 30 degrees and 24 minutes and a rad jus of 1680.1 feet
for a distance of 891.3 feet to the end of the curve;
THENCE North 89 degrees and 51 minutes East 27.P feet to a
point in the West right -of -way line of State FM Highway 369;
THENCE South 19 degrees and 45 minutes East along said West
right -of -way line 298,7 feet to the intersection of said right -of-
way line with the center line of a public road;
THENCE South along said center line of road 1409 feet to the
place of beginn-I ng and containing 38.7 acres more or less.
TRACT III.
BEGINNING at a point 30 feet North of the Northeast corner
of the John A. Scott Survey, Block 13, A.303, of the County of
Wichita, said point being in the center line of a North - -South
County Road and in the North line of Harrell Lane;
THENCE North along the produced center line of the North -
South County road 300 feet;
THENCE West parallel to Harrell Lane 2972 feet;
THENCE South parallel to Riley Lane 1356 feet;
THENCE West parallel to Linda Lane 1320 feet;
THENCE South parallel to Linda Road 1292 feet;
THENCE West parallel to Harding Street 1176 feet;
THENCE South parallel to the Thompson Road to a point 300
feet North of the North line of Hampton Drive;
THENCE East 690 feet more or less to a point 150 feet East
of Thompson Road;

THENCE North parallel to Pecan Grove Road 2706 feet to the
North line of Harrell Lane;
THENCE West along the North line of Harrell Lane to the place
of beginning and containing 773 acres of land more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3 -A of the Amended
Charter of the City o Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on
the day of � , 1959, introduced and the City Clerk
is directed to publis said ordinance one time in a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
