ORDINANCE NO.
1N ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE SOUTHEAST
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS 9 WHICH
LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDIU- ^NCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF f,,LDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA F 9 TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be
extended so as to include said tract of land in Wichita County,
Texas, and the same being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the Southwest corner cf Lot M, Southside J`.=es
Subdivision, said point being in the present City Limit line;
THENCE North along the East line of the Old Windthorst
Road to the north line of Block 9 of the Cherokee County School
Lands Survey, A -33 projected;
THENCE West along the North line projected and the North
line of said Block 9 to the Northwest corner of same;
THENCE North to the present City Limit line in the North bank
of Holliday Creek;
THENCE following the present City Limit line to the place of
beginning along the following courses:
Down the North bank of Holliday Creek in a generally North-
easterly direction, following the meanders thereof, to a point
due West of a prolongation of the South line of Blocks 1,2,3,4,
and 5 of Southside Acres Subdivision of Block 8, Cherokee County
School Land A -33;
THENCE East along the t`Jestcrly prolongation of and the
South line of said Blocks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 to a point in the
East right -of -way line of the Old Windthorst Road;
THENCE North 100 feet more or less to the South line of lot
. of said Southside Acres;
THENCE East along the South line of soid Lot A to its South-
east corner;
THENCE South to the Southeast corner of Lot M of the said
Southside ,"acres Subdivision;
THr.NCE 'Test along the South side of said Lot M to the place
of beginning and containing 161 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3 -1, of the , ".mended
Charter he City Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is
on the day of 1959, introduced and the City Clerk
is dire ted to publish said ordinance one time in a newspaper of
General circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter thisordinance may be finally acted upon,
This ordinance having been introduced on the day of
