^,,N ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE NORTHEAST
TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS

BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS9 TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be
extended so as to include said tract of land in Wichita County,
Texas, the same being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at the intersection of the West line of the David
Welch Survey, .^ -324, with the South right -of -way line of U. S. High-
way 287;
THENCE S 790-451 E along the South right-of-way line of said
Highway 287 to a point 330 feet West of the West line of North Bcv-
er ly Drive;
THENCE South parallel to and 330 feet West of the West line of
North Beverly approximately 2889 feet to the most Northerly line
of Wichita Garden produced;
THENCE East with the North line of Wichita Gardens 2971 feet;
THENCE North to the Southerly line of the Boardman Subdivision;
THENCE N 600-081 E along the Southerly line of the Boardman
Subdivision to the Southeast corner of said Boardman Subdivision;
THENCE N 10-341 E along the Easterly line of the Boardman Sub-
division and said Easterly line extended to a point in the South
right -of -way line of the Fort Worth and Denver Railroad;
THENCE 790 -451 E along the South right -of -way line of the Fort
Worth and Denver Railroad to the present City Limit line in the
North Bank of the Wichita River;
THENCE down the Big Wichita River following the North Bank to
the intersection with the West line of Scotland /Addition;
THENCE South with the West line of Scotland Addition to the
Southwest corner thereof;
THENCE South 1320 feet;
THENCE West to the Southeast corner of the Inglewood Place
Addition;
THENCE North 1120 feet to a point;
THENCE S 77° -091 W 2203 feet to a point in the West line of
the J. A. Scott Survey No. 18.
THENCE South along the West line of Scott Survey No. 18, 650
feet to a point in the South line of the North one -half of the
northwest one- fourth of said Scott Survey No. 189
THENCE West to the South Bank of the Big ?' /ichita RI- er;
THENCE Southwesterly along the South bank of the Big Wichita
River to the West line produced of the David Welch Survey, A -324;
THENCE North along the West line of the said David Welch Survey
to the place of beginning and containing 1225 acres more or less.
"CTION 2. In conformity with Section 3 -A of the Amended Char -
ter'{S the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on the
O day of 1.959, introduced and the City Clerk is direc-
t d to publish said ordinance one time in a newspaper of general cir-
culation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and seven
days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
This ordinance having been introduced on the�_' day of
19599 and having been published in a newspaper of general crrtulation
in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to wit, e Wichita Falls Rec-
ord News, one time to wit, on the // day of ,rv�— , 1959, and sev-
en days after such publication has elapsed, ordinance shall be
