AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF VIICHI TA
FALLS, TEXAS 9 BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ^D ACENT TO THE SOUTHWEST
TERRITCRIPL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS9 TEXAS, WHICH
LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORD IN!° NCE.
BE IT ORDP INED BY THE BOPRD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS9 TEXAS:
SECTION 1. That the following tract of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be
extended so as to include said tract of land in Wichita County,
Texas, the same being more particularly described as follows'
BEGINNING at the intersection of the south line of the
Robert Evans Survey with the west line projected of the Fairview
Addition;
THENCE South along the present City Limit line to a point
90 °6 feet West and 95.5 feet south of the northeast corner of
Block 14, League 1, Denton County School Land;
THENCE West parallel to and 95.5 feet south of the north
lines of Blocks 14 and 15, League 1, Denton County School Land
to the east line of Fairway Boulevard;
THENCE North along the east line of Fairway Boulevard to
north right -of -way line of the Fort Worth and Denver R.R.;
THENCE southwesterly along the north right -of -way line of
the Fort Worth and Denver R.R° to the east line of P,lexandria
Road in the Westmoreland Park j %ddition;
THENCE north along the west line of Alexandria Road to a
point which is 660 feet southeast of U. S. Highway 82 and 277

THENCE northeasterly parallel to and 660 feet from the center
line of U. S. Highway 82 and 277 to the west right -of -way line
of Fairway Boulevard;
THENCE North along the west line of Fairway Boulevard to
the center line of U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE northeasterly along the center line projected of U.
S. Highway 82 and 277 to the south line of the Robert Evans Sur-
Vey;
THENCE east along the south line of the Robert Evans Survey
to the place of beginning and containing 865 acres more or less.
SECTION 2. In conformity with Section 3 -A of the Amended
Charter fie Ci of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is
on the d y of �7/L- , 1959, introduced and the City Clerk

general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finalcted
upon.
