AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE EAST T hlk-
ITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, WHICH LANDS ARE
DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA
FALLS, 'TEXAS:
SECTION I: That the following tracts of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be ann-
exed and to be included within the corporate limits of the City of
Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be extended so
as to include said tracts of land in Wichita County, Texas, the
same being more particularly described as follows:-
BEGINNING at a point in the North line of J. A. Scott Survey
No. 13, A -303, said point being 2972 feet West of the Northeast
corner of said survey;
THENCE South parallel to Riley Lane 1026 feet;
THENCE West parallel to Linda Lane 1320 feet;
THENCE South parallel to Linda Road 1292 feet;
THENCE West parallel to Harding Street 1176 feet;
THENCE South parallel to Thompson Road to a point 150 feet
North of the North right -of -way line of Trout Street;
THENCE West parallel to the present City Limit line;
THENCE North with the present City Limit line to the North-
east corner of Block 2, of the J. A. Scott Survey No. 12, A -296;
THENCE Westerly with the North ]ine of said Scott Survey No.
12 to the South right -of- way.line of Duncan Street;
THENCE Northeasterly along the South right -of -way line of
a county road which is an extension of Duncan Street to the South
bank of the Big Wichita River;
THENCE Southerly down the West bank of the Big Wichita River
to the North line of the J. A. Scott Survey No. 13, A -303;
THENCE East along said North line of J. A. Scott Survey No.
13 to the place of beginning and containing 354 acres of land more -
orless.
SECTION II. In conformity with Section-3 -11 of the Amended
Charte of the Ci of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on
the day of �, 1959, introduced and the City Clerk

general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas,
and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be finally acted upon.
