AN ORDINANCE FIXING AND DETERMINING THE GENERAL SERVICE RATE TO BE CHARGED FOR SALES OF NATURAL GAS AND NATURAL GAS SERVICE TO RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL CONSUMERS WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF WICHITA FALLS, WICHITA COUNTY, TEXAS, PROVID- ING FOR THE MANNER IN WHICH SUCH RATE MAY BE CHANGED, ADJUSTED AND AMENDED. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS: SECTION I. Effective with the first gas bills rendered on or after the day of 'f f , 1960, the general ser- vice rate -for sales o: na ura gas and natural gas service ren- dered to residential and commercial consumers within the city limits of Wichita Falls by Lone Star Gas Company, a Texas cor- poration, its successors and assigns, is hereby fixed and deter- mined as follows: Minimum Monthly Bill $ .50 First 600 Cu. Ft. @ .1760 per CCF gross; $ .1584 per CCF net. All Over 600 Cu. Ft. @ 1 .8433 per MCF gross; $ .7590 per MCF net. Net rate shall apply to all bills paid within ten days from monthly billing date. This ordinance does not regulate any rate or charge except those specifically set out hereinabove. The above rate is applicable to each residential and commer- cial consumer per month or for any part of a month for which gas is used at the same location. SECTION II. The rate set forth in Section I may be changed and amended by either the City or Company furnishing gas in the manner provi- ded by law. Service hereunder is subject to the orders of regu- latory bodies having jurisdiction, and to the Company's Rules and Regulations currently on file in the Company's office. SECTION III. In conformity with Section 121 of the amended Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance is on the 25th day of April, 1960, introduced and a public hearing shall be held on May 23rd, 1960, at 7:00 P.M. in the City Council Cham- bers, and the City Clerk is directed to publish this ordinance in full in a newspaper of general circulation published in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and two weeks thbreafter this ordinance may be acted upon. This ordinance having been introduced on the 25th day of April, 1960, and having been published in a newspaper of general circulation in the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, to wit, the Wichita Falls Record News, one time to wit, on the 2 day of /,- , 1960, and a public hearing having been held on the rd d y—of May, 1960, and two weeks after said pub- lication and hearing have elapsed; this ordin-�nce s ll be fin- ally passed and approved this /_9 da}r of .ti , 1960.
