AN ORDINANCE EXTENDING THE CITY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF
bICHITA FALLS, TEXAS, BY ANNEXING CERTAIN LANDS ADJACENT TO THE
WEST TERRITORIAL LIMITS OF THE CITY OF WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS,
WHICH LANDS ARE DESCRIBED IN THIS ORDINANCE.(Seymour Heights area)
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF ALDERMEN OF THE CITY OF
WICHITA FALLS, TEXAS:
SECTION I. That the following tracts of land located in
Wichita County, Texas, be and the same is hereby ordered to be
annexed and to be included within the corporate limits of the
City of Wichita Falls, Texas, and that the corporate limits be
extended so as to include said tracts of land in Wichita County,
Texas, the same being more particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point in the present City Limit Line,
said point being in the west right -of -way line of Allendale Road
and being 660 feet south of the center line of U. S. Highway 82
and 277 measured at right angles thereto;
THENCE following the present City Limit Line in a
southwesterly direction parallel to and 660 feet from the center
line of the said U. S. Highway 82 and 277 to the east line of
the Roberts Subdivision produced;
THENCE south along the present City Limit Line to the
southeast corner of said Roberts Subdivision;
THENCE west along the present City Limit Line to a
point 660 feet east of the center line of Sisk Road;
THENCE south along the present City Limit Line to a
point which is 2926.3 feet south of the center line of said
U. S. Highway 82 and 277;
THENCE west along the present City Limit Line to a
point which is 340 feet easterly from the center line of State
Highway Farm to Market 369 measured on a radial line thereto;
THENCE southeasterly along the present City Limit
Line parallel to and 340 feet from the center line of the said
Farm to Market 369 a distance of 860 feet more or less to a
point which is 800 feet east of the center line of Sisk Road
measured at right angles thereto;
THENCE south along the present City Limit Line tc. the
north right -of -way line of the said Highway Farm Market 369;
THENCE southeasterly along the present City Limit sine
and along the north right -of -way line of the said Farm to Market
369 to a point which is 1200 feet east of the west line of Block
2, Denton County School Land, Leaguel;
THENCE continuing along the present City Limit Line
south to the south right -of -way line of the said Farm to Market
369;
THENCE easterly along the south right -c.f -way line of
the said Farm to Market 369 to the west right -of -way line of
Allendale Road produced;
THENCE north along the west line of Allendale Road
produced and the west line of Allendale Road to the place of
beginning and containing 92 acres more or less.
SECTION II. In conformity with Section 3 -A of the Amen-
ded Charter of the City of Wichita Falls, Texas, this ordinance
is on the 4L day of W , %z , 1960, introduced and the City
Clerk is 71irected to pu s said ordinance one time in a news-
paper of general circulation published in the City of Wichita
Falls, Texas, and seven days thereafter this ordinance may be
finally acted upon,
